Understand the basics of TriPeaks Solitaire

Start TriPeaks Solitaire by looking at the playing area and its controls. Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Use the example below to understand a decision. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.

Three-peak covered layout with a single-pass draw stock. Free solo play, no wagering.

A small practice goal

Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round. Refer to the controls when needed.

The purpose of your moves

Remove all three peaks from the tableau. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Follow this game’s rules rather than another version’s.

The order of play

  1. Take an exposed card one rank above or below the waste top. Ace and king connect in this edition.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Input guidance

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Use the visible help when you are unsure of the next input.

A useful example

Waste 7 accepts exposed 6 or 8. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Look for the relevant detail.

Pay attention to this rule

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
